Keryn Shipman

Director of Resource Development

As the Director of Resource Development, Keryn Shipman plans, coordinates, and assures the implementation of fund development strategies to develop donors and contributions to support Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Charles County. She works closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to develop and coordinate fundraising strategies from individuals, corporations, foundations, and city, state, and federal funding sources. Keryn has over 15 years of experience working in the nonprofit world, raising money and awareness for children, breast cancer, and mental health programs and services. Her number one passion is raising critical funds for children, and she is thrilled to be in her role for Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Charles County.

Before entering the nonprofit sector, Keryn enjoyed a successful 23-year television career as a Certified Meteorologist in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, and St. Louis. She is an Emmy Award winner and a former All-American Swimmer at the University of Alabama. An avid Alabama football fan, Keryn spends her Saturdays cheering on the Crimson Tide.

Keryn grew up in St. Louis and feels very fortunate to be a part of the Development team at Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Charles County. Her extensive experience and passion for helping children make her a valuable asset to the organization, and she looks forward to continuing to make a positive impact on the community.
