At Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Charles County, our core values are the foundation of everything we do. These values guide us in our mission to create a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment for all the youth in our community. Today, we are proud to shine a spotlight on one of our dedicated partners, Harvester Christian Church, for their exceptional embodiment of our core value of Compassion.

Generosity is a cornerstone of Harvester Christian Church’s values. They consistently demonstrate a deep commitment to sharing their time, talents, and resources to support the well-being of others. This spirit of giving has been a driving force behind their unwavering support for Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Charles County over the past three years.

For more than three years, Harvester Christian Church has partnered with us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our youth. Their contributions have been multifaceted, ranging from providing essential resources to volunteering their time and energy. Whether it’s through our annual Back to School Bash, capital improvements to our facilities, or involvement in community events, Harvester Christian Church has consistently stepped up to serve.

This year’s Back to School Bash was yet another example of Harvester Christian Church’s commitment to compassion and generosity. Their support was instrumental in the success of this event, which ensures that our youth are prepared and excited for the new school year. Here’s a look at the incredible impact they made in 2024:

• 20 Volunteers: Dedicated members of Harvester Christian Church volunteered their time at both our St. Charles and O’Fallon locations, helping to create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for our youth and their families.
• 475 Backpacks Donated: Thanks to their generosity, 300 backpacks were provided to students at our St. Charles location, and 175 were donated to students at our O’Fallon location. These backpacks were filled with school supplies, ensuring that every child had what they needed to start the year off strong.
• 855 Meals Provided: Harvester Christian Church also stepped in to provide 612 meals at St. Charles and 243 meals at O’Fallon, making sure that our families were nourished and cared for during this important event.

Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Charles County extends our deepest gratitude to Harvester Christian Church. Their compassion, driven by their core value of generosity and commitment to community service, continues to uplift our organization and the youth we serve. Through their actions, they have shown that compassion is more than just a word—it’s a commitment to making a positive, lasting impact on the lives of others.

For nearly 70 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Charles County (BGCSTC) has provided a safe place for kids and teens to learn and grow.
