Core Value Spotlight

At Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Charles County, we believe in creating a community where every child feels valued, accepted, and supported. Our core values—Safety, Belonging, Compassion, Excellence, and Opportunity—are the foundation of our work and drive us to make a difference in the lives of youth. Today, we’re thrilled to spotlight Daytheon Jeffries for exemplifying our core value of Belonging.

As a local business owner of Camp Bow Wow St. Charles, a dog care franchise, Daytheon has made it his mission to support youth in meaningful ways. His commitment to creating a sense of belonging has been felt throughout the Club, where he has actively supported several programs and initiatives. Daytheon’s contributions go beyond just offering his time—he is an integral part of fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment where young people can thrive.

Daytheon’s involvement with the Club spans many areas, each of which reflects his dedication to nurturing the next generation. He has been a steadfast supporter of tutoring, helping youth with academic support and ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed. His encouragement has made a difference in countless members’ educational journeys, as they continue to build confidence in their abilities.

One of Daytheon’s most notable contributions is his support for Junior Youth of the Year, a prestigious program that recognizes the leadership and accomplishments of our older youth members. Daytheon’s guidance and mentorship have inspired these young leaders to pursue excellence in all areas of their lives, reinforcing the value of hard work and determination.

Additionally, Daytheon’s involvement in Bracelets with A Purpose Club, a popular youth activity, has made a lasting impact. He engages with youth on a personal level, helping them feel connected to the Club while providing a creative outlet for self-expression. His support extends beyond the activities themselves—he listens, encourages, and makes every member feel like they are a valued part of the Club family.

Daytheon’s unwavering support helps ensure that every child at Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Charles County knows they are important and valued. His dedication to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment aligns perfectly with our core value of Belonging. Through his actions, Daytheon has shown that when people feel they belong, they are empowered to reach their full potential and contribute to a stronger, more connected community.

We are incredibly grateful to Daytheon Jeffries for his continued commitment to the mission of Boys & Girls Clubs and for embodying the spirit of Belonging. His impact is far-reaching, and his efforts will continue to inspire both our youth and staff for years to come.

Thank you, Daytheon, for making a difference in the lives of the youth in our community and for being a champion of Great Futures!
