Bob Cissell is inducted into Missouri Area Council Hall of Fame

Branson, MO, September 19, 2023 - A long-time board member and advocate of Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Charles County (BGCSTC), Bob Cissell, was inducted into Boys & Girls Club’s Missouri Area Council Hall of Fame on September 19, 2023, in Branson, Missouri. Cissell was among 4 new members enshrined into the Hall of Fame for their achievements, including Rudy Beck of BGCSTC.

The Boys & Girls Clubs Area Council Hall of Fame honors those rare individuals whose high achievements have made a mark in their local Club and have impacted the Missouri Area Council of Boys & Girls Clubs. The four individuals honored have shaped and inspired local Clubs in Missouri. Hall of Fame honorees have achieved the distinction of being true champions for children and have provided innumerable accomplishments and lasting impact.

Cissell has given 20 years of board service to BGCSTC since joining in 2003. This is a testament to his commitment to giving back to the organization that played a pivotal role in his own life. As a Club Alumni, having been a member during his youth, Cissell knows firsthand the transformative impact the Club can have on young lives. This personal connection has been a driving force behind his long-standing service to the organization. During his tenure, Cissell's insights as a former Club member have provided invaluable perspective, guiding the board's decisions to better cater to the needs of the youth they serve. His passion for BGCSTC has been evident in his active participation in various initiatives, committees, and campaigns that have strengthened the organization's mission and expanded its reach within the community. As the Golf Committee Chair, Bob has been instrumental in organizing and leading successful golf tournaments that have generated essential financial assets for various Club programs.
