Sydney Schader
Marketing & Brand Manager
As the Marketing & Brand Manager, Sydney Schader provides strategic leadership and is directly responsible for marketing outcomes, public relations, and branded solicitation materials for all special events, campaigns, presentations, and Club events. She plays a crucial role in enhancing BGCSTC’s visibility, building and protecting the brand, and supporting fundraising and programmatic efforts. This position requires a blend of marketing experience, social media best practices, graphic design, communication skills, project management, and an understanding of the nonprofit sector.
Sydney's journey began in Springfield, Missouri, where she had the privilege of attending Boys & Girls Clubs of Springfield as a child and teen. This experience ignited her passion for the Boys & Girls Club Movement and inspired her to pursue a career dedicated to its mission. Her time as a Youth Development Professional and receiving the 2019 Youth of the Year award for the local organization solidified her commitment to the cause.
At BGCSTC, Sydney channels her passion into creating engaging digital and print media that communicates the incredible impact of the organization on the lives of the children and families it serves. She believes that strong branding and marketing are crucial in raising awareness and support for the invaluable services provided by BGCSTC.
Currently, Sydney resides in St. Louis County with her fiancé and their two dogs, Oz and Monty. She graduated from Lindenwood University with a BA in Business Administration, with minors in Non-profit Administration and American Studies, and was promoted to a full-time role in May 2022. When she is not working on marketing and fundraising efforts, she is planning her wedding or enjoying time with family and friends, playing in softball, pickleball, or bowling leagues.
