Dan Sheffield

With over 40 years of accounting and managerial experience in finance and banking, Dan is an asset to the Boys & Girls Club of St. Charles County administrative team. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from UMSL. He began his career with ITT Financial, an $11B finance company that provided commercial, SBA, and consumer financing. Other previous roles include Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer.

In 2009 he moved back to his hometown of St. Louis where he joined Frontenac Bank as CFO. He served for 7 years on the Advisory Board to the Finance Department at the University of Missouri – St. Louis (UMSL) and chaired the Student Engagement Committee. In 2017 Dan pursued a lifelong dream of working in the nonprofit industry by joining Jazz St. Louis, an organization that provides resources to students in the St. Louis area, most of whom are in underserved schools.

After retiring in 2020, Dan still wanted to give back to the community by working for a nonprofit. Dan is also active in his church and works as a mentor for children from 3rd to 5th grade.
