DONATIONS MADE TO BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF ST. CHARLES COUNTY MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR TAX CREDITS.
ST. CHARLES, MO, September 26, 2017 – Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Charles County (BGCSTC) has been approved by the Missouri Department of Economic Development, from the period of July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2019, to participate in the Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP). Eligible donors utilizing Tax Credits can give BGCSTC the full benefit of their donation while allowing themselves a 50% tax credit on their state income tax liability.

“BGCSTC is pleased to have been awarded Missouri Neighborhood Assistance Tax Credits. These credits are a very advantageous tool to realize considerable savings while making a generous donation to an important cause. NAP donations made to BGCSTC will be used to provide programs offered at the Club that will lead to academic success, good character and citizenship, and a healthy lifestyle for all St. Charles youth.”
Eligible donors for NAP are individuals who: operate a sole proprietorship or farm, have Missouri rental property or royalty income, a shareholder in an S-corporation, or a partner in a Partnership or a member of a Limited Liability Corporation (LLC). Also eligible are businesses that are a: corporation, financial institution or insurance company, or a partnership, S-corporation or LLC. Completed and notarized tax credit application forms are required to receive tax credits. The tax credits are applied to your total tax liability incurred for the tax period and should be filed with your Missouri business income tax return.
The minimum donation to take advantage of the tax credits is $500. Donations can be made by cash, stocks, or bonds. Please consult with your professional tax advisor to see if a donation is right for you. More information can be found at the Missouri Department of Economic Development website.
