Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Charles County Celebrates Selection as a Fresh Thyme Giving Bag Program Beneficiary
St. Charles, MO – Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Charles County (BGCSTC), a non-profit committed to enabling all young people to reach their full potential, has been selected as a beneficiary of the Fresh Thyme Giving Bag Program for the month of May.
The Fresh Thyme Giving Bag Program, which launched in March 2018, is a reusable bag program supporting non-profits in the communities we all call home.
BGCSTC was selected as the May beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the St. Peters Fresh Thyme store (3600 South St. Peters Parkway). Every reusable Giving Bag featuring the Giving Tag purchased at this location during May, BGCSTC will receive the $1 default donation.
“We are excited and grateful for this opportunity to build awareness of our work with the patrons of Fresh Thyme. Our Club supports students in their academics as well as building important life skills through positive adult mentor relationships,” said BGCSTC Chief Executive Officer, Linda Sanchez. “Every dollar we receive increases the number of at-risk young people we can serve.”
BGCSTC has a goal of raising $500.00 during the month of May. These projected funds will support enrichment activities for the After School and Summer programs.
Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Charles County has two locations, serving families in the St. Charles and St. Peters/O’Fallon area. Founded in 1955, BGCSTC continues to provide a safe and fun environment for young people during vulnerable out-of-school time. Learn more by calling (636)946-6255 or visiting https://bgcstc.org.
